Easy Way To Read or Decode A Barcode and QR-Code Image

Few days back I mentioned an online tool to generate barcode and QR code. Sorry for the long delay, because I was very busy developing my new sites. Now, as I promised you in the previous post, this topic will be focused on how to read barcode and QR code image without using any software or machine, we will use an online based tool.

The web-based application that I want to highlight here is ZXing from Google Code, have you heard that before? First, let’s take a look on the interface.



The ZXing’s interface is indeed very simple but do not underestimate its abilities :D

From the layout, you can either upload the image from your computer or from URL, then click "Submit Query" to decode or read your barcode or QR-Code images.

I have two examples here, one barcode image and the other is QR-code image.

Step 1 : copy and paste the image URL into the first box and then I
Step 2 : click "Submit Query" to decode.

How Do I Create A Barcode and QR Code Image For Free?

Hello everyone, in this post I will cover a tips on how to create a barcode image without any software or machine. As a part of system checkout, barcode plays important roles in information system. The easy example of barcode implementation usually we can see barcode label on a product in supermarket. Within the barcode attached in a product lies some information about product id/name. Morovia’s interface is very simple, choose whether you want to create barcode or QR-Code. Set the format, data, dimension, bar height, and rotation then click submit. The tool will process your need, and finally it will give you a barcode image.


For QR-code making, input data to encode; set the module width, version and error correction level. Then click submit!

Googsystray - Google Notifier In System Tray, Integrates Gmail,Voice,Calendar,Wave and Reader

Googsystray - This is another useful tool from sourceforge's software library, especially if you are an intent google user. We know that to create a google account is free and has been widely used by millions of users in the world. Yes, with a google account you can use many of the services provided by Google, such as Gmail, reader, wave, voice, bloggers and others, all for free. I'm sure you must also have, at least you have been using the Gmail service.

Back again to the topic, actually googsystray is not one of Google's products, but it is a program created by jimducheck from the open source community (sourceforge). This software can be downloaded for free and you can use it without limitations (freeware). So what you can do with googsystray?

As I mentioned in the title of this post, googsystray integrates various Google services, including Google Mail, Voice, Calendar, and Google Reader Wave. Once you install this program, the application will run on your computer’s system tray. This application works, give you a notification when you get the latest updates from your google account. For example: if there are new messages in your gmail, it will automatically shows a notification, small popup previews an information about the new update. Next you can open googsystray interface and access your account without opening your browser.


Googsystray has a simple interface and tabs that allow you to access various Google services (like I have mentioned above). The application is also pretty light, only requires small resources thus it won’t be a burden for your computer.
