Seagate has officially announced the Seagate Momentus Thin 2.5-inch hard drive which claimed as the World’s thinnest and slimmest 2.5-inch hard drive at this time. Seagate Momentus Thin specifically designed for ultra-portable device that not only for laptops / netbooks, but also can be used as backup device.
Then how about the capacity provided by Seagate Momentus Thin? It will be available in 160GB and 250GB hard drive capacity. Moreover, this disk also features 8MB cache, 5400RPM spin speed and SATA 3Gb/second interface. According to the plan, the new Momentus Thin will be available on the market next month, at January 2010. I think the size of Seagate Momentus is very small because just 2.5-inch
Will any 2.5 inch ATA hard drive replace my Toshiba MK6021GAS hard drive on my Toshiba Satellite A35?
I have had one of their drives now for over TEN years and it has never failed, not even a hick-up, and is in use everyday and is a complete marvel by anybodies standards. OK, its on an old Pentium II 400Htz PC that is running one of the small Linux Operating Systems.
