Exposures are automatically set using multi-pattern, center-weighted or center-spot TTL metering, and 2.0EV of exposure compensation is offered in 1/3EV increments. The digital camera provides five available white balance settings including an auto mode, and ISO sensitivity is controlled automatically from 80 to 240, or manually from 80 to 1250 equivalents – the high ISO lets you capture details in dim-light conditions and fast-action photography.
It offers a generous 16 scene modes to help you swiftly achieve the results you're looking for without the need to adjust shutter speeds, apertures and others. Some of the scenes are auto, sport, portrait, snow, fireworks, and backlight. Manually select from the scenes and color modes (color, black & white, and sepia) and achieve your best shot with built-in camera picture-customization features such as cropping, picture rotation and undo-delete. You can also add text tags to your pictures to easily find and organize them later. Relive your memories easily with the on-camera slideshow feature.

My needs for a camera are pretty basic: I wanted a slim, portable camera, easy to use and at a good price. I replaced my older EasyShare camera with this newer model. It is slimmer, gives sharper pictures, better close-ups and focuses more quickly, so you're not waiting 2-3 seconds for the camera to snap the picture.
